C. BOOK SIZE & PAGE COUNT
Common sizes include A4, A5, B5, 6" × 9", and custom dimensions.
A5 is commonly used for books, while A4 is widely used for manuals and reports.

The minimum page count depends on paper thickness and spine requirements.
Maximum page count depends on paper stock, book size, and spine thickness.
Each folded sheet creates four pages, making multiples of four necessary for proper booklet construction.
Saddle Stitch books require page counts in multiples of four. If your file does not meet this requirement, you must revise the artwork by adding content pages or blank pages before submitting your order. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the final artwork file contains the correct number of pages before submission.
No. Covers are calculated separately.
D. PERFECT BINDING
Perfect Binding uses industrial adhesive to create a square-spine book.

Yes, provided the spine width is sufficient to accommodate readable text and artwork.
Spine design, including text, logos, and graphics, is the customer's responsibility and must be included in the submitted artwork file. Ultimate Print does not create or modify spine artwork unless design services have been specifically requested.

Spine width is determined by page count, paper thickness, and paper bulk.
Option 2:
Spine width depends on the total number of pages, paper type, and paper thickness selected for your book. Once your order details have been reviewed, our Customer Service team will provide the recommended spine width to assist with the preparation of your cover artwork.
Yes, but important content should not be placed directly across the spine.
A minimum inside margin of 10 –15 mm is recommended.
E. SADDLE STITCH BINDING
Pages are folded and secured using wire staples through the spine.
Booklets, brochures, event programmes, manuals, and small catalogues.
Page creep occurs when inner pages extend beyond outer pages due to paper thickness.

H. ARTWORK PREPARATION

J. PROOFING & PRODUCTION
Yes. Basic prepress verification is performed.
Once your file is ready for approval, you will receive an email notification:
- Click on Visit Account to direct you to your Order Status.
- Select your specific Order Number and click View.
- Go to Order History and click on Download File to review.
- Once checked, click Approve your Proof and choose either Approve proof or Reject.
